Leisure Qala - Gozo Island
Qala is located at the easternmost tip of the Island of Gozo, just a km away from Mgarr ferry harbour. Victoria, the capital is only a ten minute drive away. Gozo is an all year round destination, its history is no doubt its main asset but the beaches and coves which adorn the coast are the jewel in the crown. Dining and wining is excellently catered for by many restaurants which dot the Island. Local produce range from fresh fish such as tuna, swordfish, sea bream to octopus to fresh pasta and loads of fresh vegetables grown locally. Scuba diving schools PADI affiliated are numerous and easy to locate. Festa season starts just after Easter and goes up to end of September each year. This makes Gozo a favourite destination with families with children and couples alike!
